The excellent pro-gun voting record for Matt Lohr, who is the incumbent running in the 26th District, was not properly considered when the VCDL-PAC was figuring out who to endorse in the race.
The VCDL-PAC originally decided to endorse Matt Lohr's opponent as he turned in a slightly better survey. VCDL had been asked to report the legislative record of the various incumbent candidates under consideration. In reviewing the endorsements that the VCDL-PAC announced a few days ago, they realized that they had not properly reported Matt Lohr's legislative record and notified the VCDL-PAC of the error.
As you know, an actual voting record must be given strong consideration as what people do is more important than what they claim they will do.
Upon final review, the VCDL-PAC has decided to Endorse Matt Lohr in the race, as his voting record shows him to be a strong supporter of your gun rights.
